A template to help you share your data

Close the feedback loop with easy-to-use poster templates

These templates will help you share snapshots of data from YouthTruth reports with students and/or the school community using simple, easy-to-understand charts. Each template features a selection of chart types that represent key elements of reports, anonymous stakeholder comments, national percentile rankings, and disaggregated subgroup results.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Select three pieces of data.

What might surprise your community that is positive? What might surprise your community that means there’s room to grow? Remember, the goal is to spark discussion and ideas, and show that school leaders are listening, not to be comprehensive.

  1. Sign up for a free account with Canva, a user-friendly online design platform where the poster templates are hosted.
  2. Choose the right template for you and copy and paste selected data into the provided template.
FEATURED Template: October is National Bullying Prevention Month

Ready to make a poster? Choose which template is right for you

The only difference between these three templates is the chart-types. Elementary students answer YouthTruth Survey questions on a 1 to 3 scale, while Secondary students answer on a 1 to 5 scale. If you work with both or all grade levels, never fear – we’ve made one template with both chart-types available!

Want to get more specific? Choose from these specific topics

Sharing data about a specific topic – in honor of a national month of celebration, a holiday, or a school event, etc. – can build buy-in on targeted school efforts. Below are prepared templates designed to help school share their results on specific topics like bullying, relationships, and even specific questions, in more detail.
