YouthTruth partners with Minnesota State Department of Education

March 1, 2014ytadminUncategorized

The Minnesota Student Engagement Survey was developed to align with the definition of “engagement” used in the Model, which refers to behavioral, cognitive, affective and academic engagement. Survey design experts from the YouthTruth Student Survey partnered with MDE to create the survey and Minnesota educators reviewed items and provided feedback along the way. Teachers can learn a great deal about their students from surveys and can use perception data to engage in reflection, identify strengths and opportunities for growth, and plan accordingly. Click here to view an 8-minute online tutorial of how to read the Minnesota Student Engagement Reports.
