I think this survey is realy intersting, because it ask's about the students imput. I feel with this program it will help to improve a LOT in the world of school for students. *THIS SURVEY IS AWESOME, BECAUSE IT LISTENS TO OUR OPINIONS.
I THINK THAT YOUTH TRUTH GIVES US A CHANCE TO SPEAK OUR WORD AND WHAT WE WANT. IT GIVES US A OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO US.
I've taken polls like these every year but the schools never change.
I'm glad that our school let us finally talk to the truth about how we feel as young adults and not treated as little kids. Bravo for the Youth Truth.
It's a different way of trying to get our voices heard. Our concerns finally out in the open. Since it's a general thing they just can't ignore us anymore! :P It helps us "little" people out.
Our school is small, [a High School in Arizona], and completely online. It's a good school, just a few problems. The only extra classes there are is CTE Web and Game Design. Yeah, they're good classes and all but they need more. Music class or something, maybe a computer class, something! The school is small, knowing that i'm going to come to school and eat out in the cold isn't cool - build it bigger! Maybe this YouthTruth thing will get that from us students and things will change :)
Without Highschool, there won't be the next Bill Gates
Our thoughts are finally heard. Some one had the mind to open it up and express what they thought for the youth.
I think this was a very helpful survey, it really opened up my mind.
I'm so glad my school did this, so now i can show them how bad my school is and maybe they can make it better.
My teachers are the real reason that I come to school. They are SUPER cool and they help you withh all of you class work. They always have tutoring sessions for the students.
My school already does everything it can to help us be prepared for college and make our highschool expierience a great one and youth truth survey is that extra boost they need.

I feel like Youth Thruth is different because someone is actually going to be reading it. I hope my voice makes a difference.
I feel like youth truth gave me the opportunity to tell my experiences and give my input on things that are really going on here at [my high school.] This time the students are able to tell their stories and how WE feel which makes me realize that you all really do care about our education. As a student, i feel that it is only fair that we share what should be improved and let the teachers, faculty, and staff know that somethings they do aren't fair. Yes it is true I love my school but the teachers needs some improving.
This was a good way for me to tell the world about our school. Many people think that our school is a good school but behind close doors in reality it aint. My teacher worry about their Mac's and what their having for lunch instead of worrying about their students failing. Man i think that Youth Truth can really change things. Maybe our Teachers and Administration could take this survey and let us read it. Maybe we need to change on a few things. Well That's all my time thanks.

I believe that YouTruth is going to make my school an even better place than it already is.
Us students need to be heard. Without us our schools would close. We need schools to work for us not against us.
I feel alot of ambiguity towards this since it really got down to it but I have a feeling my administration won't respect my voice. Regardless of if they listen, I feel that this survey has more than acurrately represented what I wanted to say
I think the Youth Truth program it help students in try to develop their schools.
Hopefully the teachers will read the surveys and maybe change some thing's. i think that making new changes could help the students out a little more better.
I'm a freshman at my high school and it is my first time at a public school since elementary. My school is fine, in my opinion. The only thing that bothers me is that it is way too constrictive. We have five minutes between every class! But then I see the other students, the ones that might endanger our school. I know that it's neccesary, that it's for outr own safety, but couldn't we just please have a little more freedom? I feel so restricted sometimes! Maybe Youthtruth can help change that.
Taking the youth truth was a cool experience. it worked in our schhol and i hope it works on yours!!
My school is very small its in tx.Its full of portables, even our cafeteria is a portable!I think we deserve a school even tought theys said we migth get a new high school this year i doubt it.I really dont like that we dont have any sports :( i feel miserable without any athletics or gym, i think students should have atleast a gym class.I thank my priciple for telling us about Youth Truth i hope it makes a diffrence will see in a few months what happens.But i really do think t-stem is a miracle for me and all my classmates.
i think this survey will really help my school improve its conditions. I hope this survey is really taken into consideration and our voices will be heard so that the neccessary changes will be made. our school REALLY needs it.

yourtruth is very helpful. captures the voice of students to reach out and say what they think of the education their receiving. we students are the voice of education and we can help improve our schools.
i think that my school [high school in Miami] is a pretty good school but with the youth truth program i think that we are going to become a way better school i love youth truth!!!
i like my school is ok but what i really want is for my school to get us ready for college and give us diffrent opinions on what college we should go to that would be just right for us. mabe even try to get some scholerships.
I'm glad my school decided to participate with this program. It gives finally the students a chance to express themselves.

I am very glad that us students have a choice in what our schools should be doing to help us out. I also enjoy how we don't have to answer the questions we are uncomfortable with.
Knowing that we are able to see how our school is doing will help us become better and stronger. It also helps us learn from each other and unite us even closer.
my school already says they are helping us get ready for college. We are on our labtops pretty much all day everyday. We work in groups for pretty much everything but it doesnt seem like the teachers teach us anymore. We teach our selfs, we find everything we need on the internet but the teachers give us assiment after assiment after assiment. Its very stressful but if you say something to them about it they dont understand. Maybe YouthTruth will finally help them understand how hard this is on us and how much we wish we could go back to the way things use to be. When they actually taught us the things we needed to know. that would be awesome(:

I think since we have a college prep. school, YouthTruth is really going to help. We have a family here, and we need to make choices as one.
Im a Junior at [a high school] in Miami ,fl and I wish the school should not have a uniform policy because it doesnt allow us to express who we are and takes up us human beings in real life , and thier not that strict about it so i see no pint of this , i wish they can changed it up !
Do your best in school now. It's the only time you can prove your something.

My teachers are considerd as our friends they listen they dont sugarcoat anything, they will tell you what they know. Finally our voices are heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a 17 year old senior and I currently live alone and look out formyself. My parents are split and my mother lives far from here. But I still manage to do sports, get A's and B's and come to school everyday. I believe in myself and it was my decision to come and live alone. I still hold their support.(parents)
We the students deserve to be treated as young adults and to have equal opportunities and everyone to be treated fair!
My school is doing better. Over the years, it has improved. People talk badly about our school because of its reputation and location. The school isn't that bad. We have excellent academies and teachers to teach. Our sports teams are good, but we need something more interesting to change peoples views on our school.
our school will completely disregaurd the effort we put forth on this servey. they are to worried about money and lowering educational standards to save them an extra dollar. we are losing out on education due to a greedy board of education, they are not prepairing us for our careers and it is hurting the community and state.
This survey will truly show how to vastly improve our school environment, causing many more students to become successful inside of the classroom.
Hopefully with this schools will improve for the best of ALL of our futures.

i disagree with the uniform policy and they need to take that out let us wear what we would like, atleast we coming to school. The only teacher that really care is my s.c.s.i teacher ... he my dawqq :)
i think this was nice i guess i thought it was gonna be more interesting but other than that not only the football players should get all the good treatments we ALL should.. and they should give us more compliments and treats for doing good or trying except giving it only to the honor students and football players and the APs

My school should really begin to lighten up on the uniform policy. We should be allowed to wear what we wish to express ourselves (Unless it's too revealing which in this case it's okay to disapprove that). I just want that to loosen and for my school to bring in more clubs and electives such as better Art, music, language (Such as Japanese, Greek, German, etc), and such. An anime club too. Lots of students love Art now a days. Maybe not that noticeable, but I've seen a lot of them. That's all I want. Improvement in clubs and electives and more options, and for the uniform policy to loosen a bit. Is that so much to ask? At least the uniform part. O~O"

i hate how we have to wear unifrom and how much they cost to buy them and they need to change the food at school its terrible!
No matter how many surveys you take, the times you arrange an appointment with a counselor or principal, etc, things never change. :| It would be great if we could get more Foreign Languages though. Italian and German got cut out and now French will too. Only language left is Spanish. :| We are coming to the point we are losing elective and maybe it's because our school is focusing their budget on Seniors; their prom and all that good stuff, and for Juniors, their class rings and whatever else they have. They shouldn't focus their money on those kinds of things. What about the Freshman and the Sophomores? If my school does change, I would be greatly surprised though.
I HOPE the people at the Board of Education read the responses to this survey.

I'm still new to this whole thing, but I'm hoping that Youth Truth will help my school get better, It's still young and disfunctional but I do love it here and hope to stay for the next four years :)

Programs during and after school can help solve a lot of the problems, if afterschool programs are added, we can maybe keep some of the young ones out of the streets or whatever harmful environments they face in modern-day society. I'm not saying spend millions of dollars on just a program, but maybe get some volunteers that can stay and help kids with things they need such as tutoring
I hope my school actually listens to the voices of the students because we are the voices that actually matter. We are here for education, not the staff.
I love [my school] but this school is getting tagged by gangs and segragated by clubs. I think It's dumb. We need a change!!! My education is not that great. I'm always confused and I really would like to learn and get straight A's but it never happens... Please Please... Make a change!!!!!!
Youth truth really makes me feel that I have a say in my school!
i think that youth truth program try to make a change at schools,at students life and at the way school function. and youth truth program also try to connect at the students fiture. if there was million program like youth truth to help students at their future some was gonna stay at school.bad schools,teachers ect... make students *misarable*and what they do is dopped out ect...i hope by reading that you understand it and write something too,beacause you no better than i.thank you,that was a pleasure for me to write this.plenty of love for youth truth.im a students fom [a school in Miami].
